Professional Dress Guidelines (Grades 6-12) Occasionally, JrHi/SrHi students will be requested to dress professionally for chapel days or for a designated event.
“Professional Dress” at Sunrise Christian Academy is not just about clothing, but an overall appearance. When a student leaves Sunrise and goes off to college and ultimately to their chosen career, we want them to stand out in a good way. In today’s economy, there are hundreds of applications for every position and we feel that appearance is important and first impressions DO COUNT! We have set our guidelines to reflect what we consider to be professional, and we hope that students and parents will support us as we seek to instruct our students.
Boys may wear regular dress pants (no denim) and a dress shirt with collar and tie. Pants must not be baggy or have oversized legs or holes. Shirts are to be worn tucked in.
Girls
Girls may wear a skirt and top or dress…

SCA Uniforms only.
A uniform shirt must be worn underneath the approved black Sunrise sweatshirts at all times. No hoodies of any kind, including Sunrise hoodies are allowed. All winter coats worn on campus must be SCA approved.
God calls us (parents and grandparents) to set an example for our student body. Due to this responsibility, we would ask that all who come on campus (whether you are volunteering in the classroom or lunchroom, driving for a field trip or helping with an event) to follow the same dress code as the students are to follow. Thank you for partnering with us in this endeavor.
