Admission & Acceptance


Acceptance to Sunrise Christian is a very straight forward process, and applications should be submitted no later than the spring semester prior to the school year for which the student wishes to attend. After submitting an application, the prospective student and his or her family is interviewed before final acceptance is granted. Families are notified of acceptance no later than May 1st, as long as their applications have been received by March 15th.

An enrollment fee of $100.00 must be paid when submitting your application to SCA. If for any reason, your child is not selected for admission, the entire Enrollment Fee will be refunded to you. If your child is selected but you choose not to attend, the fee becomes nonrefundable. If your child's application and fee were submitted prior to June 1st, $25.00 of the $100.00 will be applied toward your 1st month's tuition payment. After that date, the entire $100 will count toward the enrollment fee.

Requirements for enrollment include:

The Student Must Be in Good Standing His or Her Former School.

  • The Student Must Have a Passing Report Card from His/Her Last Completed Grade.
  • The Student Must Either Furnish a Standardized Test, Taken Within the Last Two Years;
    OR He/She Will Be Required to Take Such a Test in Order to Determine Academic Placement.
