Financial Aid

Financial Aid

Each year, Sunrise Christian Academy awards thousands of dollars in financial aid to our families. Financial aid is awarded in two primary categories: Family Income Based Scholarships and Academic Scholarships. Families eligible for financial aid may receive anywhere from 10%-25% of tuition costs. Books and registration fees are not eligible for, or included in, scholarship funds.

Family Income Based Scholarships:  SCA has a Tuition Scholarship fund available to help those families who have financial needs, emergency situations or hardships. These scolarships are based on the family's AGI (Adjusted Gross Income). For example, if a family has an AGI of $25,000.00 or below and is enrolling one student, partial financial aid may be available. If a family has an AGI of $35,000.00 or below, and is enrolling 2 students, that family may also qualify. Requests for financial aid should be submitted along with your Application for Admission. Financial Aid Awards are made after admission is determined. Special awards may be available for families who undergo medical catastrophes or other unusual hardship situations while their children are enrolled at SCA.

Academic Scholarships:  SCA also offers scholarships based solely on academic merit. These awards are made regardless of a family's economic situation.

In general, Sunrise Christian Academy seeks to maintain your family's scholarship and financial aid package all the way through school, provided that your income does not change appreciably.

Any family interested in applying for Financial Aid must complete an Application for Admission, Application for Scholarship, and submit the $100.00 Registration Fee before any scholarship request will be processed. Families receiving Financial Aid are expected attend Sunrise Christian Academy for the entire school year. In most cases, early withdrawal results in a required repayment of any Financial Aid funds credited to the family's account.
