Chess Club

The Chess Club is sponsored by Vic Graham. All ages are welcome to join us on Tuesday evenings in the SPC. We participate in many area chess tournaments through the school year; as well as regional and state competitions.

Chess News

The Chess Team wrapped up a successful season
at the Kansas State Championships.

Caroline Jiang placed 3rd out of 104 playersin the K-3 division.
Her only loss was to the tournament champion in the final round.
James Myose finished 7th out of 96 in the K-5 division.
Nathan Keck placed 25th out of 96 in the K-8 division.

Congratulations everyone for a strong
finish and a great season!
