On March 24 the Sunrise Christian Academy Mock trial teams went to Sedgwick County Courthouse and competed against 5 teams. The Sunrise teams took 3rd and 4th place. One of the teams qualified for State, which was also held at the Sedgwick County Courthouse on March 31st. There were 8 teams from the Wichita, Topeka and Kansas City area. Bryce Lewis won best opening/closing from regionals and Sharea Swartzendruber won best witness at State! They both received a $25 gift card to iTunes. The Independent team won 1st place and will represent Kansas at Nationals in Albuquerque.
