The Model United Nations 

The Model United Nations is sponsored by Peggy O'Donnell. The students, 9th through 12th grade, are given a country to represent and then research its significance in the United Nations and the world.

Wichita State University hosted a Model UN on January 20 with 12 area schools participating. We had six students: Maria Church, Bryce Lewis, Holly Atkeson, Caleb Hess, Briana Dusenbery and Zach McElfresh. Congratulations to Holly Atkeson who received "Honorable Mention" in her Council. Students competing were the countries of Mexico and Guatemala.

The next Model UN is on March 5-6 in Topeka. Congratulations to Czarina Cutaran for being selected as a Secretary in the Political/Economic Council.  Three students will be attending Topeka: Czarina Cutaran, Holly Atkeson, Maria Church

On April 11 we have students attending Johnson County Community College: Zach McElfresh and Ciara Johansen
