AFTER SCHOOL:
Students who remain on campus after 3:45 p.m. must report to After School Care.
      Grades K - 2:  SPC
      Grades 3 - 5:  Room 401 in the main building, just off the lobby
      Grades 6 - 12: Room 402

BEFORE SCHOOL:
There is also supervision before school. Please call the office to make arrangements if needed on a regular basis. Elementary classrooms open at 8 a.m. Students arriving before 7:50 a.m. should meet in Room 714 in the Childcare wing.

Fees for the Before/After School Rooms are billed monthly, at $4.00/hour.

CELL PHONES:
No cell phone use in class--this includes text messaging!
      1st Violation: Lose your phone for the day. 
      2nd Violation: Lose your phone for the week and it will be held in the office.
      3rd Violation: No cell phone allowed at school at all.

Cell phones MAY be used during lunch period, passing periods, break times, and Study Hall (with permission!).

CHAPEL PEWS:
No writing on, or poking holes in, the pews!

DETENTIONS:
10th Hour (after school) Detentions are observed every Wednesday, beginning at 3:45 p.m. in Room 402, and last for one-half hour (at minimum) or longer, as required. No Shows will receive double detention time and in the event eight (8) or more detention hours are accumulated, the student will be charged $5.00 per hour.

GUM POLICY:
Because of the damaging effect of improperly discarded gum, SCA strictly enforces a NO GUM policy.

I-PODs:
I-Pods are not allowed on campus anytime during the school day.

LOST AND FOUND:
Lost and Found items are kept on the south side of the Old Gym above the coat rack. Unclaimed items are taken to Goodwill approximately once a month.

NBC:
NBC stands for No Bodily Contact between boys and girls. This includes holding hands, hugging, etc. while on the school premises.

NOTE WRITING:
Junior High students are restricted from writing notes of any kind during school. Breaking this policy will result in detention.

SNOWBALLS:
Throwing snowballs is not allowed on Sunrise Christian Academy property due to the possibility of injuries and destruction of property. Anyone who chooses to test this policy will receive detention.
