My name is Melanie Adams and I serve as the Elementary Principal at Sunrise. The Lord has blessed me and allowed me to work in the education field since 1979. I received my degree from Fort Hays State University and continue to further my education through taking courses.
I have been blessed to work at Sunrise since 2001. I began at SCA as a classroom teacher and was truly blessed by the faculty, students, and parents. In 2004, I stepped out of the classroom and moved into administration as the Elementary Principal. It is my prayer that the Lord will use me as His hands and feet to serve the students, parents, and faculty. It is truly a privilege to be able to serve in this role.
Mrs. Adams and her husband Gil have been married for many years and raised two children who attended and graduated from SCA. Mrs. Adams has two granddaughters one of whom attends SCA as a student. Her favorite Bible verse in Psalm 127:3, "Children are a heritage from the Lord."
