Dr. Sam Morris is our Associate Superintendent/Senior High Principal. Dr. Morris is an SCA alumnus who holds a Master's Degree in Strategic Communication from Wichita State University and a Doctorate of Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Morris shared, "I am excited to join the administration of SCA. This is where I grew up and was trained. Christ-likeness and missions were fostered in me from an early age at Sunrise, and I long to see our students have that same experience today. My dream for SCA is that as we educate students for time and eternity, we have a clear focus on God and His Gospel. I want every student who comes through our hallways to know God and love God, because God knows them and loves them in Christ Jesus. I want to continue to see every classroom and every subject or activity at every grade level consider their subject or sport in light of our great God who loves us and gave Himself for us. I hope that we will play a vital part in fulfilling the Great Commission of Matthew 28 every day at SCA."

Dr. Morris also teaches our public speaking and theology classes and his goal for the students is to know what they believe as Christians and to share their faith with others confidently.

Sam and his wife Mackenzie, who serves as a first-grade teacher at SCA, have two children attending Sunrise.
